Bill Smith

Bill Smith is a consultant to the firm, particularly in relation to resources related matters and general corporate and commercial matters. Bill has been a lawyer for almost 30 years - as a partner in private practice and as internal counsel for a number of Australia’s largest energy and resources companies, both in Australia and the United Kingdom.  During that time, Bill has worked on a wide range of domestic and overseas projects in the oil and gas (onshore and offshore) and minerals industries.  He has also been involved in gas pipeline and LNG projects. On the commercial front, Bill has broad experience across the full range of corporate issues, especially in asset acquisitions and divestments, construction and development projects and major contract negotiations
