Joanne Miller

Joanne Miller holds degrees in Psychology (Honours) and Law from the University of New South Wales and has specialised in the migration area for over 15 years.

Joanne commenced legal practice in 1990 and held senior advisory, management and training roles in the migration practices of top tier legal and professional services firms in Sydney before joining McDonald Steed McGrath in 2005.

Joanne has substantial experience in advising businesses on the sponsorship of staff for temporary and permanent residence visas and in advising individuals on their migration options. This includes visa application work in the areas of:

• Employer nomination
• Parent and Spouse Migration
• Business Migration
• Skilled Migration
• Resident Return

Joanne's other areas of practice include applications to the immigration department regarding proposed visa cancellations and applications to the Migration Review Tribunal for review of decisions made by the immigration department.
