John Cooper

John Cooper is a consultant to the firm on matters relating to mining oil and gas law and the firm's project work. He has had some 30 years experience in the provision of advice to the resources industry.

He has worked as both in-house counsel for government instrumentalities and large corporations and in private practice and his clients include Shell, Australian Submarine Corporation, Felix Resources, Silverstone Events, Thoroughbred Racing SA, Racing SA Ltd and G13 Pty Ltd.

John has experience in both upstream and downstream mining and petroleum matters and is currently legal advisor to a number of large development projects in Australia.

John's main areas of practice include:
