Karen Richards

Karen attended the University of Adelaide and obtained a Bachelor of Laws in 2001. Admitted as a legal practitioner in 2002, Karen was also admitted to the High Court of Australia in 2003.

Beginning her legal career at the Legal Services Commission, she gained broad experience as a lawyer at Johnston Withers before commencing with McDonald Steed McGrath as a solicitor and migration agent. Since that time, Karen has been working extensively in all aspects of migration law including:

• Employer Sponsored Visas
• Humanitarian and Refugee Visas
• Appeal Work

Karen has accumulated considerable experience in representing clients in the MRT, the RRT and the Federal Court of Australia.
