Rob McDonald

Rob is a solicitor in the firm and has more than 12 years of commercial law experience in Australia. He has worked within the resource industry for a number of years.  He is experienced in the commercial negotiation and the negotiation of land access and compensations agreements for the minerals and petroleum industry in South Australia and Western Australia with native title claimants, native title holders and under aboriginal land rights legislation.

Rob is also experienced in native title matters in the Federal Court of Australia.

Rob specialises in aboriginal land access issues and commercial resources law with a focus on aboriginal negotiations and compliance matters. Rob joined the firm in January 2008 after managing his own firm for a number of years and is a member of SACOME and AMPLA.
